Master’s Double Degree in Educational Technology (M.Pd) & Designing Education (M.A.) is a flagship program by a global partnership between two credential higher education institutions in Indonesia and England. This program is hosted by the Educational Technology Dept. Universitas Negeri Malang and the Design Department, Goldsmiths, England.

Admission Requirements & Application Process

Admission Requirements

  1. Curriculum Vitae
  2. Bachelor’s degree certificate and official academic transcripts [Indonesia version and English if available]
  3. English Proficiency Test [IELTS etc.]
    • IELTS score of 6.5
  4. Registration fee of IDR 750.000
  5. One Recommendation Letter
    • UM admission → student’s advisor
  6. Tuition fee
    • UM – IDR 15.000.000 per semester
    • Goldsmiths – Apx. GBP 23,000 per year

Curriculum & Structure

Duration

Completed in just 2 years (shorter than many double degree programs that often take longer).

  • Year 1: Universitas Negeri Malang (Educational Technology focus).
  • Year 2: Goldsmiths, University of London (Designing Education focus).

Double Degree Structure

Students experience two academic cultures with seamless transition. One integrated research project, but presented in two defenses:

  • Defense at UM.
  • Defense at Goldsmiths.

Degrees Awarded
  • Master’s in Educational Technology from Universitas Negeri Malang. (M.Pd)
  • Master’s in Designing Education from Goldsmiths, University of London. (M.A)
